I looOve the band!

Everyone knows that I'm in love with one of the most generous, approachable, enthusiastic and modest OPM band - HALE. So what's with them that made a lot of boys, especially girls (including me), scream their lungs out??

Let me introduce to you the band:

The voice behind the songs is the Lead Vocalist/Guitarist Arthur Bernard Lui Pio. He prefer to call him "Champ" as his father, multi-awarded composer Nonoy Tan, won the award for the band "champoy". He is a college graduate at St. Benilde. The other voice behind is the Guitarist Rolando Martinez or "Roll". He is a Thomasian and still planning to pursue his course. The Bassist is Jose Angelo Gellada or known as "Sheldon". A quiet and looks like a serious-minded person (but not) guy. The person behind the up-beating sounds and loud casks is the drummer Geronimo Saroca or simply "Omnie". A very skillful timpanist. They all came from the south of metro and formed as a group last July 2004 and signed a contract label for EMI.

For the first album (Hale), they released the songs:

1. Broken Sonnet (December/January 2005)

2. The day you said goodnight (May/June 2005)

3. Kahit pa (September 2005)

4. Kung wala ka (November/December 2005)

For the repackaged album, they released the songs:

5. Tollgate (March 2006)

6. Blue Sky (which was also included in the first album) (July/August 2006)

And for the latest album (Twilight):

7. Waltz (September 2006)

8. Hide and Seek (December 2006)

9. Shooting star ( March/April 2007)

10. The Ballad of (August 2007 - latest)

They made a lot of their singles number 1 to all the Radio stations and music channels. The songs even made it to the top and being the number 1 song at the MYX yearend countdown. The first album achieved Double Platinum and received many awards in the music scene. Not bad for the first album. But here comes the much awaited sophomore album - everybody was happy when the sophomore album turned Gold on the first week of it's release. *see that* super galing nila! I like all of their songs. When you hear the music, you'll no longer think of it's meaning because the meaning itself is in it's lyrics (grammar?). Different distinguished directors directed their videos. They had been a guests in different shows in Kapamilya and Kapuso.

They had their first ever solo concert entitled "unplugged" at the Music Museum last May 4 2007. That concert was the best concert that I've ever seen. It was as if a different "hale" performed that night. They're very energetic and looks like they're enjoying every single clap of the audience. Congratulations to all of them.

It's not hard to love this kind of band. They're very good and they always make sure that they will accommodate everyone. They don't show their anger/depression and/or their sickness. Plus they are good-looking guys!

No reasons for me to say why
I loooOve the band...i just do!
