Songs and Movies are more likely to be included on the list of "piracy".

"Piracy" according to Encarta is "the use of copyrighted material without permission". Artists and musicians are all the victims of this act but it doesn't necessarily means that there are suspects.

Almost all the people who has a computer can possibly know how to use an internet. There are sites where you can download songs and movies for free, and I can say that artists are also aware of that. No doubt. Moreover, if you have an iPod or MP3/MP4 players, you can just put up the plug and there you go, push the download button then done. And I'm pretty sure that "some" artists are also what we call "downloaders". Hmmmm, better be honest! =P

... "Oh we just released our new album please get original copies. no to piracy." ->wow! very well said, and enough of that. Do you think if you're rich enough you can buy albums and movies you want and showcase every single bit of it unto your players? Naniniwala naman ako eh, andami namang record bars diyan siyempre kapag gusto, bibilhin agad, may pera eh. Eh pano yung mga wala? Hmmm, sa Quiapo marami, 'joke!'.

I'm just saying na lahat naman siguro nagd-download eh. Aminin mo man o hindi, ginagawa mo pa rin. Really lahat ng songs mo sa iPod galing CDs?? Hmmm... =P including all the songs an artist released as their only single? Hmmm... =P

I should say this straightforward: I/WE are also downloaders. Promise. Songs and Movies. Well what can I do, computer + internet + sites + "click" = "done", just as simple as that, no hassle (except for viruses, pfft!). Well who cares anyway.... But I do buy original CDs of my gfave bands, yun nga lang. HAHA =P

Bakit ayaw nila sa piracy? Simply because walang pumapasok na pera sa kanila nor on their labels. Tama naman eh, they were the one who write and produce their own songs so they deserve the market.
