Here's how I made it:
Step1: The date today is July 28, 2007 (2007 07 28)
Step2: My Birthday is September 06, 1989 (1989 09 06)
Step3: Get the Difference of the "days" (28 - 06 = 22)
Step4: Since the "month" today is lower than the "month" of my birthday, I borrowed "12 months" from the year "2007" (there's 12 months in a year right? so 07 + 12 = 19). Now the year 2007 became 2006.
Step5: Now I got the difference of the "months" (19 - 09 = 10)
Step6: Since the "6" in the year 2006 is lower than the "9" in the year of my birth, apply the laws in Subtraction - borrow from the left! (6 became 16, 0 became 9, another 0 became 9, and 2 became 1)
Step7: Subtract the year "199-16" to the year of my birth (19916 - 1989)
Read that as:
SEVENTEEN YEARS , TEN MONTHS & TWENTY TWO DAYS
